Land Victoria Fees Lodgement Fees from 1 July 2010

In accordance with the Monetary Units Act 2004, Land Victoria fees expressed in
number of fee units will increase from 1 July 2010.

The increases are applicable to fees contained in the:
• Transfer of Land (Fees) Regulations 2004
• Subdivision (Registrar’s Fees) Regulations 2004
• Instruments (Fees) Regulations 2004
• Property Law (Fees) Regulations 2004
• Water (Resource Management) Regulations 2007.

The fees are determined by multiplying the number of fee units contained in
the regulations by the value of the fee unit being $11.95 and rounded to the
nearest 10 cents.

Other lodgement fees expressed as dollar amounts (such as the Safe Custody Fee
and Correspondence Fee) will not be changing.

Lodgement fees expressed in number of fee units in other regulations will also
increase on 1 July.

A new fee has been introduced for the re-lodgement of a previously withdrawn
transaction. The new fee will be half of the current fee.

The tables on the following pages detail the lodgement fees for Land Victoria
transactions from 1 July 2010.
