SERV Appoints a New Executive

Tuesday, 24 June 2025: SERV is pleased to announce the promotion of a respected internal leader to its Executive Leadership Team.

Jeremy Staples has been promoted to General Manager, Finance and Risk Management in recognition of his outstanding contributions since joining SERV.

Jeremy has been with SERV since its inception and has played a key role in the organisation’s evolution from the transition of government services in 2018 to its current position as a vital part of the Victorian economy. His extensive experience spans corporate finance, strategy, asset management, and engineering, underpinned by nearly 20 years in the infrastructure sector. 

Prior to SERV, Jeremy held senior roles at Hastings Funds Management, Worley, and a specialist energy consultancy. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Engineering from Monash University, a Master of Philosophy in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and is a CFA charterholder.

His understanding of our business and proven leadership in infrastructure and finance make him ideally suited to this role and highlights our focus on growing talent from within.”

Jeremy’s appointment further strengthens SERV’s executive leadership as it continues to deliver critical infrastructure services for Victoria.
