Supporting faster, more confident property transactions with the new Section 32 ordering experience on LANDATA®

12 May 2026

SERV has launched a new Smarter Section 32 ordering experience on LANDATA®, designed to simplify and enhance how property professionals access key certificates required for Section 32 statements. The update reflects a continued focus on improving efficiency, accuracy and user confidence in one of the most critical stages of property transactions. Preparing Section 32 statements is a fundamental component of buying and selling property, requiring reliable information and a clear, consistent process. The enhanced LANDATA® interface responds directly to industry feedback, introducing a more intuitive and accessible way to obtain the most commonly required certificates. By refining the ordering journey, the platform aims to reduce friction and support industry professionals preparing Section 32 Statements.

The updated experience centres on usability and clarity. Once a property is selected, users are presented with the most frequently purchased certificates in a streamlined and visually improved layout. This allows faster selection of essential documents without navigating multiple steps.

Further enhancements will be introduced over the coming months, with additional certificates progressively integrated into the new interface.

Steve Millward, GM Customer Growth at SERV said “this reflects our commitment to provide Victorians with easy access to the title and property information they need to make clear, confident decisions about land and ownership.”

“The preparation of Section 32 statements is a critical part of the conveyancing process. This enhancement is in direct response to user feedback and is about making the process of ordering the required certificates more efficient for property professionals, while maintaining the high standards of accuracy and reliability SERV is committed to delivering.

The release forms part of a broader program to modernise how property information is accessed and delivered through LANDATA®. As the property sector continues to evolve, there is increasing demand for digital solutions that reduce administrative burden while maintaining trust and compliance.

For customers, the improved interface means less time spent navigating systems and greater confidence in assembling the required documentation. It reinforces LANDATA®’s role as the gateway to Victoria’s title and property information, trusted by professionals and the public alike for over four decades. Looking ahead, LANDATA® will continue to invest in enhancements that streamline workflows and support the due diligence processes underpinning property transactions. The Smarter Section 32 experience represents an important step in this journey, combining usability improvements with the stability and trust that remain central to the platform’s value.
