Data Privacy Resources
We have developed a two part educational video series to introduce information Brokers to the importance of protecting Public Sector Information and some best practice guidance on information security and data protection from The Office of The Victorian Information Commissioner , or “OVIC”, to help you embed it effectively into your organisations.
The first video is an introduction to the: Victorian Protective Data Security Standards (VPDSS), Public Sector Information (PSI) and the importance of understanding the security value of the PSI held.
The second video contains a deep dive into some key concepts and the sharing of useful tips from OVIC that SERV has used to embed a strong culture and build a risk-based Information Security and Privacy Program.
