Supporting Customers Amid
COVID-19 Disruptions

Victorian Land Registry Services (VLRS) has set out precautionary measures to minimise interruption to the services delivered.

VLRS is committed to ensuring continuity of our services so we can continue to serve our customers as the COVID-19 situation evolves. While VLRS is open for business, the health and wellbeing of our employees, customers and visitors is our number one priority.

Our operational plans are aligned with the advice provided by the Australian Government Department of Health, State Health Authorities and Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).

VLRS is conducting ongoing reviews to determine if additional measures are needed to ensure the health and wellbeing of employees, customers and visitors as well as to mitigate disruptions to the delivery of services.

Lonsdale Street Office is Open for Business

The Lonsdale street office remains open to customers, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm (excluding public holidays). As Federal and State Government advice develops, we will assess our opening hours and our Counter Services.

VLRS strongly encourages customers to contact our staff before attending the office to discuss alternative ways to lodge transactions particularly if they feel unwell or have been overseas within the preceding two weeks.

Customers may transact with our staff to provide a range of property transactions and lodgements during opening hours. In addition, customers can transact on the LANDATA®  website to conduct property title searches or purchase property certificates through the portal.

Customer Visits to VLRS

To ensure a safe and healthy environment, VLRS has;

  • Reinforced our policy that employees who are unwell or who have recently travelled overseas, do not come to work.
  • Customers and visitors who have symptoms or who have travelled abroad in the last 14 days are being asked to contact us before attending our office to discuss alternative ways to lodge transactions.
  • Provided additional hand sanitiser for customers, visitors and employees.

Electronic Lodgements

Customers can continue to transact electronically on the Land Titles Register through an Electronic Lodgement Network Operator (ELNO) and submit plan lodgements and re-lodgements through SPEAR.

Business
Resilience and Continuity

VLRS has business continuity plans in place to support our capability to recover business operations in the event of any significant disruption to our systems and services. Business continuity at VLRS includes flexible working arrangements for our people.
