Changes to Services as Coronavirus (COVID-19) Evolves

The Victorian Land Registry Services (VLRS) has set out precautionary measures to minimise interruption to the services delivered.

VLRS remains open to customers, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm (excluding public holidays). While we’re open for business, our operations will change to give effect to the heightened health advice put in place by the State and Federal Government.

Changes to VLRS Services

Effective Thursday 26 March, the changes are as follows

  • Remote working practices will be implemented for staff to serve customers as COVID-19 evolves
  • The Counter service for Registrations will convert to a Drop Box Arrangement.


Lodgements

VLRS will now ask customers to lodge important documents at the Lonsdale Street Office using the new ‘Lodgement Drop Box’ service available.

VLRS does not expect any impact to other services, such as the processing of electronic dealings, online title search, or call centre operations. These services will continue as usual.

LANDATA® Services

All LANDATA®  Services will be available online through the LANDATA®  website.  Customers are asked to visit Landata.online for these services or to contact the  LANDATA®  call centre for information.

Ongoing Reviews

VLRS will conduct ongoing reviews in line with State and Federal Government advice to determine if additional measures are needed to ensure the health and wellbeing of employees, customers and visitors and to mitigate any further disruptions to the services delivered.
