As the financial year comes to a close, several local councils will be temporarily closing their rates departments to complete annual processing and update their fees for the 2025/26 financial year.

This may lead to delays in the processing and delivery of rates certificates during this time.

What this means for you:

• Temporary council closures will occur between late June and early July (exact dates vary by council)
• Longer turnaround times may apply to certificates from affected councils purchased through LANDATA®
• Certificate processing will resume once council systems are back online with updated pricing
• Priority certificates can still be ordered, but may not be completed within the usual timeframes

Please be aware that while some councils may offer an estimated timeframe for a lodged request, others may not. These estimates must be obtained directly from the relevant council.
